Phuket man wins 18 million baht from lottery, plans to pay off money owed

After praying at several temples with excessive hopes, one Phuket man’s dream of profitable the lottery has come true! The man, who lives in Ratsada on Phuket’s east coast, won 18 million baht yesterday, which simply occurred to be April Fool’s day. How-to is drawn twice a month.
But the profitable was no joke. The man, Panuwat, says he has struggled with debt, and was even 10 million baht in debt a few years in the past.
Panuwat had been frequently buying lottery tickets, and visiting temples to hope to a ghost that many Thais imagine grants people financial fortune. Panuwat says he plans to make use of his winnings to construct a better home for him and his household to reside in.
