Unlike diaphragm, rotary lobe, and PC pumps, the peristaltic design of the Watson Marlow Bredel hose pumps contains no moving parts that come into contact with the product. It has no seals, ball-checks, diaphragms, glands, immersed rotors, stators or pistons to leak, clog, corrode or replace.
Bredel hose pumps also remove the need for ancillary tools similar to dry run protection, seal water flush techniques and in-line examine valves. A hose change takes only minutes and may be carried out in-situ with out particular tools or expert personnel.
The pumped fluid is totally contained in a long-life hose, protecting operation and maintenance personnel and the surroundings from undesirable spillages or exposure to chemicals. Flow is completely impartial of suction and discharge conditions. The Bredel hose is precision machined to ensure circulate stability and pump efficiency in robust fluid dealing with purposes.
These industrial pumps obtain flow rates up to 475 GPM, transferring as a lot as 80% solids in suspension.
